Welcome to the BloonsGuide.com guide to conquering Town Center on Impoppable difficulty in Bloons TD 6!

Throughout this guide, you'll learn both how to beat Town Center on Impoppable difficulty and learn a few basic tips and strategies you can use on any map to consistently tackle Impoppable - and even harder difficulties - elsewhere.

...but before we begin:

The strategy shared in this guide is by no means the best strategy, and many aspects can be improved. Our goal is to show you what worked for us - we encourage you to experiment and improve!

This footage was recorded on BTD6 Version 39. If you find this strategy no longer works on future patches, please let us know!

Finally, this strategy was adapted from Player 老干妈 (Laoganma's) "Least Cost CHIMPS (LCC)" strategy on Town Center found on BTD6 Index.

With that out of the way, let's get started.

The Final Build

  • Tack Shooter (2x)

Early Game & Starting Towers

The Hero we'll be using in this walkthrough is Sauda.

With a calm fury, Sauda can carve Bloons up with her twin razor-sharp swords.

$5,000

Normally, our first tower placed in these guides is a hero like Sauda - but we're switching things up today!

To start the game, place a Tack Shooter to the bottom left of the house in the top right-hand corner, and a Dart Monkey next to the box by the house in the bottom right-hand corner.

Your Tack Shooter should be as close to the path on its right side as possible.

Then, as soon as you have the gold on Round 6, upgrade your Tack Shooter to "More Tacks," or 0 / 0 / 1.

Round 7 - 8

You should have around 118 gold at the start of Round 7.

As soon as you kill the first Bloon, upgrade your Tack Shooter to 0 / 0 / 2, or "Even More Tacks."

Then, right at the start of Round 8, you should have exactly 180 gold. Use this gold to upgrade your Tack Shooter to 1 / 0 / 2, or "Faster Shooting" in the top path. This will allow you to clear a few of the upcoming rounds.

Round 11

As soon as you have the gold - which should be right after you pop the first Yellow Bloon on Round 11 - purchase the hero Sauda and place her directly to the left of the Tack Shooter, getting her as close as you can to the Tack Shooter as possible.

Sauda should have the ability to hit Bloons on both her left and right side, after the Bloons finish the final loop of the map. We'll upgrade her range (and other towers' ranges) later with a Monkey Village.

Round 13

At the start of Round 13, place another Tack Shooter to the right of your first Tack Shooter.

Round 14

During Round 14, Place a Glue Gunner in the spot indicated in the image below, and upgrade it to 0 / 1 / 0, or "Bigger Globs," as soon as you can.

Round 17

Once you have the gold on Round 17, upgrade your Glue Gunner to 2 / 1 / 0, or "Corrosive Glue" in the top path.

The Glue Gunner's corrosion will allow us to deal with the Lead Bloons coming soon!

Round 19

When you have the gold on Round 19, upgrade your second Tack Shooter to 1 / 0 / 2, or "Even More Tacks" in the bottom path and "Faster Shooting" in the top path.

Round 24 - 25

When you have the gold on Round 24, upgrade both your Tack Shooters to 1 / 0 / 3, or "Tack Sprayer" in the bottom path.

Then, on Round 25, upgrade them both again to 2 / 0 / 3, or "Even Faster Shooting" in the top path.

Round 27 - 28

At the start of Round 27, place a Wizard Monkey to the left of Sauda (and down a bit as well) and upgrade it to 0 / 0 / 2, or "Monkey Sense" in the bottom path.

Then, at the start of Round 28, upgrade it again to 0 / 1 / 2, or "Fireball" in the middle path. This will help us clear Camo and Lead Bloons even faster, and will also allow us to pop Camo Lead Bloons. Finally, we'll work our way towards "Shimmer" in the bottom path for an extra bit of Camo Detection.

Round 33

At the start of Round 33, place a Monkey Village directly below Sauda and the first Tack Shooter, ensuring it encompasses all the towers you've placed so far.

This Monkey Village is extremely important for the run, as it will give our Tack Shooters the extra range they're lacking (since we didn't upgrade the middle path for range).

Round 35 - 37: Village Upgrades

During Round 35, upgrade your Monkey Village to 2 / 0 / 0, or "Jungle Drums" in the top path. Then, during Round 36, upgrade it again to 2 / 1 / 0, or "Grow Blocker" in the middle path.

These two upgrades will give our towers a much needed boost in attack speed, as well as prevent Regrow Bloons from working when in the radius of our Village.

Finally, during Round 37, upgrade the Village again to 3 / 1 / 0, or "Primary Training" in the top path.

Round 38 - 39

When you have the gold during Rounds 38 & 39, upgrade your Wizard Monkey to 0 / 2 / 3, or "Wall of Fire" in the middle path and "Shimmer" in the bottom path.

Now we have Camo Detection for our other towers and a powerful fire ability for all other Bloons!

Mid Game

During the mid game, we'll focus on buffing our towers with Alchemists and upgrading our current towers to handle the later rounds.

Round 40

Before the MOAB appears on Round 40, place an Alchemist on top of the box next to the house in the bottom right hand corner and upgrade it to 2 / 0 / 0, or "Acidic Mixture Dip."

The MOAB will make it around the last loop of the map, but your Tack Shooters will shred it down along with the resulting Bloons!

Round 43 - 45

Once you have the gold on Round 43, upgrade your first Tack Shooter to 2 / 0 / 4, or "Overdrive" in the bottom path.

Then, on Round 45, do the same to your other Tack Shooter.

Round 47

Upgrade your Alchemist to 3 / 0 / 0, or "Berserker Brew" in the top path as soon as you have the gold.

Round 48

Now it's time for some cleanup.

At the start of Round 48, sell your initial Dart Monkey and replace it with another Alchemist. After placing the Alchemist, upgrade it to 3 / 0 / 1. Upgrade your first Alchemist to 3 / 0 / 1 as well. They should both have Berserker Brew and Faster Throwing.

Note: Using Faster Throwing here over the 2nd path upgrades is probably not the best, and this may be one of the many areas of improvement you could make to this run. The 2nd path improves your Alchemist buff potions, which is most likely better given our setup.

Round 50

At the start of Round 50, place an Ice Monkey above Sauda and your first Tack Shooter and upgrade it to 4 / 0 / 2. Be sure to place the Ice Monkey in range of your Monkey Village.

Round 55 - 56

Place another Glue Gunner down at the start of Round 55 and upgrade it to 0 / 1 / 4. We'll upgrade this to Glue Splatter on the next round.

This Glue Gunner will provide an amazing amount of slows and stoppage to both regular Bloons and MOABs, making it one of our main towers on top of the Tack Shooters and buff towers.

On Round 56, upgrade your second Glue Gunner to 0 / 2 / 4.

Round 61

At the start of Round 61, upgrade both your Alchemists to 4 / 0 / 1.

Even better buffs!

Round 67

Upgrade your Monkey Village to 4 / 1 / 0. All the monkeys in the Primary category within the radius are buffed even further with this upgrade, providing extra range (mainly for the Tack Shooters) and giving us some free upgrades on new towers in the process.

End Game

Now we're going to bring out the big guns.

Round 76

On Round 76, we'll make our first max tower purchase.

Upgrade your first Tack Shooter to 2 / 0 / 5 - The Tack Zone. You should have enough gold for this by the end of Round 75.

This will be our main damage dealer for the rest of the game!

Round 83

You've probably noticed by now how slow it is for Bloons and MOABs to reach our main offensive point at the end of the map. Our next purchase is going to speed this up.

On Round 83, place a Darling Gunner above your Wizard Monkey and upgrade it to 2 / 0 / 4. Then, switch its targeting to "Target Independent."

The Bloon Area Denial System will automatically target Bloons without you having to aim, and it will have near-full map coverage to melt MOABs before they reach our last line of defense.

Round 92 - Glue Gunner

As soon as you have the gold on Round 92, finish your second Glue Gunner's upgrade path by purchasing Super Glue, making the Glue Gunner a 0 / 2 / 5.

Round 97

It's probably wise to turn off "Auto start" here, as we'll be adding a Spike Factory next round and you'll want to ensure you get as many spikes as possible.

Round 98

As powerful as our current setup is, it actually isn't strong enough to take on Round 98 alone. So we'll need some help.

You should have around $28,000 gold at the start of Round 98. With Auto Start off, upgrade your Wizard Monkey to 0 / 2 / 4. This will give us some extra Zombie Bloons to help with the Round 98 onslaught.

On top of this, place a Spike Factory to the right of your second Tack Shooter and upgrade it to 4 / 2 / 0.

And that's it!

The above setup should carry you through to the end of Round 100.

Conclusion

This is by no means a perfect run. Of course it isn't - we upgraded the bottom crosspath on our buff Alchemists instead of middle path.

However, the guide above should be enough to secure you your first Impoppable win on Town Center on your way to CHIMPS difficulty.
